We are pleased to welcome special guest Tony
Selznick of McDonald
Selznick for a special audition workshop.
As one of the pre-eminent and most experienced agents
in Hollywood, Tony will cover such topics as:
- Understanding what is expected of you in an audition
- Using rejection as a tool for success
- Knowing how to present yourself for all types of
auditions
Joined by Director/Choreographer Jamie King and Dancer/Choreographer
George "Geo" Hubela, the audition workshop
will consist of choreography aimed at aspiring and
professional dancers interested in jazz/hip-hop work.
Class setting will allow for a question and answer
session. |

Selznick Associates (along with Julie McDonald,
the pioneer of dance representation), Tony confirms the
growing presence of LA agents scouting for talent in
the NYC dance community. His years as a casting director,
producer and agent, provide him with essential and accurate
information.
McDonald Selznick's prestigious clients
include Jamie King, Jerry Mitchell, Wade Robson,
Marguerite Derricks, Hi-Hat, Sergio Trujillo, Mia Michaels,
Brian Friedman, as well as the casting directors for
music tours for such recording artists as Madonna and
Britney Spears. |

Jamie King: Director, Choreographer
and Producer, Jamie has directed projects that include
Madonna's "Re-Invention" 2004 World Tour and
Pink's "Try This" 2004 US Tour. Currently
Jamie is working as an International Consultant for
Nike's new dance line.
George "Geo" Hubela: Dancer
and Choreographer, Geo's credits include The Wedding
Singer and Billy Crawford's 2003 & 2005 European
Tour. He is also a guest teacher at the Broadway Dance
Center. |
