Is registration required in order to take classes?
Our classes are open and you may sign into any class you wish on the day of the class according to your level of experience. Our FREE student ID card is necessary for all students to present at each class sign-in. Become a member by filling out a short on-line form available at www.BDCClubCard.com To take a class, come to the studio sign-in desk at least 10 minutes prior to the start of a class and tell us what class you'd like to take. We do have special workshops that will specify when a pre-registration is suggested.

How do I know which level of class to take?
We recommend taking a level that is lower for the following reasons; you may be unfamiliar with a teacher's style, classes may be harder than what you are accustomed to and you might want to acclimate yourself to new surroundings. If you haven't danced in many years, you'll want to reintroduce your body and muscles slowly. Remember, if you've chosen a class that is not best for you, we will happily switch you to another class.

Can you help me get an I-20?
Yes, we are authorized by the Federal Government to issue I-20 Certificates of Eligibility to qualifying nonimmigrant students, for M-1 Student Visa Status. Please visit the BDC Student Visa Program for more information.

What age should you be to take open classes?
We offer a wonderful, nurturing Children/Teen Program for students ages 3 to 18. The program runs 7 days a week, September through June. If you are unavailable for this program, our weekly class schedule allows for children ages 13 and up. If it is your first time to the studio, we ask that you call first for advice as to class selection. Some instructors are more amenable to having younger students in class than others.

Does your school have a dress code?
In our adult classes, you may wear what you feel most comfortable dancing in. However, we suggest wearing clothes that allow the teacher to see your body so that corrections on placement may be made with more accuracy. There is a dress code for our Children/Teen Program.

What if I am late for class?
Generally students will not be admitted into class 20 minutes after the class start time. This is to ensure proper warm-up, reduce injuries and class etiquette. Management also reserves the right to refuse any individual entry onto the premises or class at any time per their discretion.
