Program Guidelines:

  1. Interns take 12 classes per week (Monday – Sunday) from our open class schedule. We strongly recommend taking two classes per day.
  2. After a brief exploratory period, Interns will select a Concentration discipline (Jazz, Ballet, Theatre, Tap, Hip-Hop), after which the program will comprise:
    • Five classes from the Concentration
    • Two mandatory ballet classes
    • Three diversity requirements (from outside the Concentration)
    • Two Electives
  3. Each Intern will be scheduled a 10-hour work shift per week in one of our administrative departments. This shift will be assigned in the first week of your program; Interns are held to the highest professional standards in executing their work duties.
  4. Interns are not permitted to attend auditions during their first four months of training, after which permission is required by the program director.
