Scott Thompson is an award
winning Director/Choreographer and has worked
regionally all over the United States on such shows as DAMES
AT SEA at
Goodspeed, GYPSY starring Betty Buckley at the Southern AZ
Light Opera Co
and THE MUSIC MAN starring Larry Gatlin at Austin Musical
Theatre. Scott
founded Austin Musical Theatre in 1997 and produced,directed
and
choreographed fifteen spectacular productions there including
SWEET CHARITY,
A CHORUS LINE, THE BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE IN TEXAS, OKLAHOMA,
WEST SIDE
STORY, PETER PAN and JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR to name a few
favorites. His
choreography has also been seen at the Hollywood Bowl and
at a special gala
in Washington D.C. honoring Ira Gershwin's centenial starring
Dawn Upshaw
and Audra McDonald.
