Class Description

The joy of dancing and the celebration of possessing that facility is something Justin Ross endeavors to bring to each of his classes. His theater dance class is based in the belief that one does not merely dance with their body but with their mind, imagination and spirit as well.

All the choreography is derived from a dramatic context story informs the movement. It is as much of an acting class as it is a dance class. His choices of music range from classic Broadway to contemporary pop,

For a complete warm up that focuses largely on building strength and flexibility Mr. Ross has created a mix of jazz, modern and ballet exercises. These allow for the dancer to focus on their center and to get in touch with the energy emanating from their body and thus release it. Express yourself!
