Pizzi
Joey Pizzi
recently won an American Choreography Award for his work as associate
choreographer for the motion picture Chicago, in which he also danced the role
of Bernie (Pop), in Cell Block Tango. He previously won the same award along
with an Emmy for the TV movie Annie. He has done many other films, including
The Terminal, directed by Steven Spielberg, starring Tom Hanks and
Catherine Zeta-Jones. Joey’s stage credits include 10 Broadway shows,
3 Off-Broadway, 4 National Tours, as well as productions in London, Berlin,
and Italy. Joey was a grand-prize winner on Star Search in 1992 and is a founding
member of the 405 Project, which is based in New York City.
Joey is currently in LA assisting fatima robinson on the
Dreamgirls movie with beyonce. |
