Carlos Lopez has been teaching
master classes in a chorus line and Theatre Dance For Several
years. He coached many of the people in the Broadway cast,
as well as in some regional casts. He just finished a successful
Stint as a guest teacher at the Broadway Dance Center and
is looking to share his experience with you. Also well versed
in the Broadway Style he is prepared to teach workshops in
the Theatrical vain. To teach your dancers not only to dance
but also to act a performance, to teach them to follow a
story line that enriches a dance and makes it a Dance
Carlos Lopez most recently played the role of Smokey Damn
Yankees At the fireside theatre. Also after taking a sixteen-year
break from the show he played the role of Al Deluca in Geva
theatres production of a chorus line. He played the Barber
in the Broadway production of Man of La Mancha, Sonny in
the Broadway production of Grease, Tommy Keeler in the Broadway
production of Annie get your gun, Speedy in Wonderful Town
Also Broadway. Mike and Paul in A Chorus Line Broadway, Eight
Broadway shows in all including Pajama Game, Grand Hotel,
Guys and Dolls. He has worked with Michael Bennett, Jerome
Robbins, Tommy Tune, Jerry Zaks, Christopher Chadman and
many more. He also Played Mike in the world tour of A Chorus
Line, Arab in the National Tour of West Side Story And Karl
in Bells are Ringing with Faith Prince. Some of his TV credits
include The Sopranos, Law and Order, Guiding Light, All Fired
Up…Movies Brooklyn Sonnet, Stepford wives and Death
wishes.
