Ann Lamb
Mary Ann Lamb
appears in the hit film, Chicago, dancing the choreography of award-winning
director, Rob Marshall. She and Marshall have worked together
several times, most notably when she put her stamp on the
role of Vibrata in the Broadway hit, Funny
Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.
Her extensive Broadway dance career
is on display in a PBS documentary titled, Working
Dancers.
The film outlines her path to Broadway and Ms. Lamb's work
in 10 Broadway shows. Some of these include: originating
the role of June in the revival of Broadway's Tony Award-winning
show, Chicago, and featured dance numbers in Contact, Fosse,
Seussical, and Jerome Robbins'
Broadway. In addition to
Broadway, she has been cast in seven productions at New
York's, City Center, in the prestigious ENCORES series,
most recently performing a dance feature in their production
of New Moon. She portrayed the lead role of Anna in the
York Theater's off-Broadway presentation of New
Girl in Town.
Ms. Lamb is also a veteran of a variety of films,
television roles, numerous commercials and regional
theatre productions. Known for her full-out style, Ms.
Lamb loves to pass her artistic passion on to others.
