Class Description
Int Adv THEATRE - I feel that technique
and style are the foundations of dance but I take the class to the next
level by layering in detail and creating a story to go with the movement.
This is offered in my Intermediate/Advanced Theatre Dance class where
styles ranging from the 20's to the present are explored using my choreography
as well as choreography created by the masters: Jerome Robbins to Michael
Bennett, Bob Fosse to Agnes De Mille.
Within this class I start with a center warm up stretch then a short
ballet barre, isolation movement and across the floor movement then followed
by a Musical Theatre combination. I feel that a very strong sense and
understanding of technique is required to be a full complete performer.
