EMMY Award winning and Tony nominated Broadway choreographer, AC Ciulla, has enjoyed an eclectic career spanning a wide range of work in different creative arenas.

AC was nominated for the TONY and Outer Critics Circle Awards for Broadway’s Hit musical Footloose and has choreographed and directed numerous productions of Footloose all over the US and abroad starring Japan’s biggest pop stars.

Off-Broadway, he choreographed the Theatre Guild Award nominated musical Ghetto Superstar at the Public Theater starring Billy Porter, produced by George C. Wolfe. He choreographed The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin starring LaChanze for Playwrights Horizons and received a Lucille Lortel Award nomination for “Outstanding Choreography.”

AC choreographed the musical Chess at the Ford Amphitheater in Los Angeles starring Susan Egan and Mathew Morrison. Regional theater includes the new Steven Sondheim revue Being Alive at the Westport Country Playhouse, Barrio Babies starring Sara Ramirez at the Denver Theater Center, The Yiddish are Coming at the Denver Civic Arts and The Plexiglass Slipper featuring Wanda Richert at ASOLO Rep.

Now in it’s second smash year, Ciulla co-created and choreographed the hit show Toni Braxton—Revealed for the Flamingo Las Vegas as well as the six -time Grammy Award winning recording artist’s celebrated 2006 LIBRA tour and live NBA All-star performance. Other recording artists include live shows for Eden's Crush of WB’s “Popstarts” opening for Jessica Simpson, and videos for Freedom Williams of the dance sensation C&C Music Factory and Billy Porter. AC staged Signed, Sealed, Delivered— A Musical Celebration of Stevie Wonder at the Venetian in Las Vegas starring Chaka Khan, Peabo Bryson and Melissa Manchester. Ciulla created, directed and choreographed the hit Broadway musical review Nights on Broadway II & III for Caesar’s in Atlantic City.

Film work includes choreography for "Gray Matters" starring Heather Graham, Bridget Moynahan, Tom Cavanaugh, Sissy Spacek and Molly Shannon as well as the film, "Puppet" starring Rebecca Gayheart.

Ciulla won the 2003 EMMY Award for “Outstanding Choreography of a Television Special” for his innovative work with Olympic figure skating champions for the world renowned "Stars on Ice." He choreographed the 2nd Season of "Viva Variety" on Comedy Central and the self-titled video of Nickelodeon's hit television show "Taina" starring Christina Vidal, as well as creating choreography for several episodes for "The David Letterman Show." Most recently AC directed and choreographed the 1-800-OK-CABLE dance commercial and has choreographed countless spots including the famous dancing Intel commercials, Dr.Pepper and the Busby Berkeley style musical E*TRADE spot, which aired as one of the top five commercials during Super Bowl 2002. Industrials include Hanes Underwear, Acclaim Entertainment and Arm & Hammer to name a few.
