We are delighted to be entering our 24 th year of excellence in dance education. Broadway Dance Center’s Children & Teen Program is THE elite training ground for young dancers. It is our goal to find the perfect class that fits your child’s needs and to nurture their growth throughout their time with us. Our strength lies in knowing how to bring out the very best in YOUR child.
In June 2007, we moved into our beautiful new home in midtown. The new space is in an absolutely perfect location at 322 West 45th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues, embedded right in the heart of the Broadway Theater District. In addition to the new studio, we also have a satellite school conveniently located only 2 short blocks from our 322 location. Roy Arias’ Studios and Theaters, our satellite school, is located at 300 west 43 rd street.
Our 32-week program offers classes in Creative Movement, Pre-Dance, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Latin Jazz, Modern, Pointe and African. We understand and take into consideration the busy schedule of children these days, so our one-day-a-week program is thoughtfully and specifically designed to cater to the hectic schedules of the modern family. For our beginner students, we have weekday and Sunday classes geared towards children and teens with less dance experience. More advanced students attend our popular Saturday program. Whether your child is looking to have a career in the dance or entertainment fields or taking classes just for fun, BDC is the place for you!
Our caring faculty is an elite, sought-after group of highly trained and qualified dance professionals. Their dedication to dance instruction is shaping the future of the dance world. It is our focus to instruct your children with the highest quality training enhancing technique, style and performance. It is our goal to give each student the best dance education possible. Providing high quality and an abundance of opportunities, the CTP at Broadway Dance Center is the ultimate place for your child’s development in dance. Meet the Directors
 Co-Director:
Emily Robinson
This is Emily’s seventh year with The Children & Teen Program and her 3rd year as Director. She attended the University of Alabama and Marymount Manhattan College in NYC. Emily's enthusiasm to share her love of dance with others began at the young age of 11 years old when she founded the very first dance club for the Tuscaloosa Public school system. Since then, her creativity, natural teaching ability and keen business sense has allowed her to continue to positively impact many children's lives. She feels extremely fortunate to be in the wonderful city of New York working for the fabulous Broadway Dance Center.
 Co-Director: Allie Beach
Allie is excited to be back for her third year as the Co-Director of the Children and Teen Program. She received a B.A. in Communication Arts with a focus on promotional and professional communication from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City, and is currently attending graduate school at New York University to obtain her Masters Degree in Media, Culture, and Communication. Allie is currently a member of Handcart Dance Company in New York City. She is honored to be a part of such a rewarding program!
