Dear Group Leaders,

This is an exciting time at Broadway Dance Center! We have successfully settled into our new home at 322 W 45th Street — our facility is new and improved, but our foundation is the same. We remain committed to providing excellent customer service as well as creating a generous and creative environment for dancers. For those of you that joined us during our transitional period, thank you for your continued support during our relocation — we value your loyalty more than we can say. And to those of you that trained with us during our grand re-opening summer season, it was a pleasure having your dancers train with us.

We’ve been open now on 45th Street since June, and it seems like a good time to update all of you on the Group Services Department. We do welcome groups year round, and a trip to BDC is always a great way to motivate and inspire any dancer. As many of you know, BDC offers over 40 classes a day for ages 13 and up, and our schedule is carefully structured to offer a variety of levels and techniques.

Groups also have the option to arrange private master classes with our faculty. Privates are 90-minute classes customized to your needs and preferences, where instructors structure the class according to your specifications. Private classes create a more intimate environment where your students will receive personalized attention to maximize their classroom experience. There is no age limit for private classes, so they’re a perfect option for your younger dancers.

In addition to our open and private master classes, groups can choose from several specialty options. I know many of you bring your dancers to NYC to train as well as experience the excitement of the Great White Way. What better way to experience the magic of Broadway than learning from the performers first hand! We work closely with the Broadway community and schedule “Meet the Artist” classes on a regular basis. Dance-related seminars on headshots and résumés, auditioning and nutrition are available as well and are outstanding supplements to your regular dance classes.

I recognize and appreciate the time and energy that it takes to bring a group of dancers to NYC to study, and it is my highest aim to plan a memorable and exciting experience for you and your dancers here at Broadway Dance Center. Our staff and faculty work diligently to maintain the integrity for which the studio is known.
